It is published four times per year, March 30, June 30, September 30, and December 30. Its formal abbreviation is Ann Pediatr Endocrinol Metab. It was launched in 1996. The title of the first volume was Journal of Korean Society of Pediatric Endocrinology (pISSN 1226-2242). The journal title was changed to Annals of Pediatric Endocrinology & Metabolism (APEM) from Volume 17 Number 1, 2012. The aim of APEM is to disseminate important new medical information by publishing clinical investigations in pediatric endocrinology and basic research relevance to pediatric endocrinology and metabolism
