Abstract: Objective To investigate the rehabilitation of disability in Guangzhou.Methods In 2004, Guangzhou government had investigated 85397 disabled persons who have the disable card in 13 district of Guangzhou City. The data about the rehabilitation from this investigation were analyzed, including the rehabilitation accepted, effects, place, operation, etc. Results and Conclusion 66614 cases were investigated about rehabilitative accepted. 54650 cases were investigated about rehabilitative effect. 46808 cases were investigated about rehabilitative place. 44794 cases were investigated about rehabilitative operation. The number of poor effect of rehabilitation was large, because a lot of disabled persons had not been treated with rehabilitation. A lot of rehabilitation were played in family, with few equipment and by no-professional.
