Abstract:
Five patients underwent transpubic urethroplasty for the membranous-prostatic urethral strictures. Excision of the wedge of pubic bone provided excellent exposure for the prostatic and the membranous urethra without orthopedic disability. Of the 5 patients, 4 have had satisfactory results without periodic dilatation and one has been failure.
