Abstract: Sepsis is a life-threatening organ dysfunction syndrome caused by the host's maladjusted response to infection, and is one of the important causes of acute kidney injury (AKI). Sepsis-associated acute kidney injury (SA-AKI) has a high incidence, poor prognosis and high mortality. The pathogenesis of SA-AKI is very complex, and its pathogenesis has not been fully elucidated. Therefore, finding effective biomarkers for early diagnosis, treatment, disease development and prognosis of SA-AKI is an urgent clinical problem.
