- Abstract: Abstract:Non suicidal self injury (NSSI) is one of the most common mental health problems during adolescence, and has become a major public health concern. With the widespread use of the Internet among adolescents, online social platforms are used as tools for self disclosure among adolescents with NSSI. Online disclosure of NSSI among adolescents has become an issue that attracts much research attention. Several studies indicated the double edged swaord of online self disclosure of NSSI. This review aims to summarize the characteristics, associated factors and the impact of online disclosure of NSSI among adolescents, and to provide evidence for early detection and effective intervention.
