- Abstract: It has become a consensus that there is a correlation between psoriasis and obesity, but the exact mechanism is not yet clear. Studies demonstrate that common inflammatory pathways and insulin resistance may contribute to the association between psoriasis and obesity. Understanding the impact of obesity on the occurrence and treatment of psoriasis will be beneficial to the treatment of psoriasis.
