Abstract: This review describes the cognitive function impairment and recovery during the active and remission phases of Cushing’s syndrome (CS) , a glucocorticoid over-exposure disease. Memory, attention, executive ability, and intelligence disorders are included. A comprehensive view of the present studies on the CS-related cognitive functions provides new ideas for a simpler and full-scale psycho-cognitive assessment of neuroendocrine diseases.
