Abstract:
This paper analyzed the definition, composition and allocation of rehabilitation workforces at globe level using International Standard Classification of Occupations (International Labour Organization) and International Standard Classification of Education (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization). Three implications had been drawn: To scale up higher education of rehabilitation to meet the needs and allocation of rehabilitation workforce at country level; To develop higher education system of rehabilitation; To develop disciplines and rehabilitation courses to meet international standards using international theories and approaches of modern rehabilitation sciences and technology.
