Abstract: Parathyroid hormone plays an important role in maintaining the homeostasis of calcium and phosphorus metabolism via acting on bone, kidney, and intestine. However, little is known about the effects of parathyroid diseases on the reproductive system. This article describes the association of parathyroid diseases with reproductive function and health.
