Abstract:
We experienced 43 cases of traumatic hyphema for one year. The cases of angle recession following traumatic hyphema were 36 of 43 patients(84%). The average degree of angle recession of these patients was 286 degrees. The cases of persistent elevation of intraocular pressure among these 36 anglerecessed patients were 13(36%). Their average degree of angle recession was 309 degrees. Our result suggest necessity of the careful measurement of intraocular pressure and long-term follow-up in traumatic hyphema patient.
