- Abstract: Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) can achieve neuroplasticity through repeated stimulation of specific cortex, and may be in the ways of inter-hemisphere inhibition or compensation, or both. The various combination of frequency, intensity and duration of stimulation may effect the upper limb function after stroke in different ways.
