Abstract: Fibroblast activation protein (FAP) is highly expressed in most epithelial tumors, and FAP inhibitors (FAPIs) have been used in tumor diagnosis and treatment. Taking FAP as the target, new kinds of tumor imaging and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals can be developed. FAPIs have been used in the preclinical and clinical researches as the carrier of tumor imaging and treatment. This article reviews the research progress of FAPIs in nuclear medicine imaging and treatment.
