Application of venipuncture virtual training system in pre-job nurse training

Abstract: Objective:To observe the role and value of advanced venipuncture virtual training system in nursing clinical skills training for different venipuncture cases.Methods:Forty pre-service nurses were randomly selected from clinical departments to carry out training, and 40 trainees were respectively tested on the theory and operation of virtual venipuncture technology before and after training by the system software. A self-control study was conducted before and after training (random case selection assessment). Then a questionnaire was used to evaluate the training effect. SPSS 19.0 was performed for t test and repeated measure-ment ANOVA analysis. Results:Forty nurses participated in venipuncture training and passed the examination smoothly. The results of theoretical and operational assessment before and after training show significant differences.Conclusion:After training the pre-service nurses with the advanced virtual venipuncture system, the flexibility and accuracy of the operation are significantly improved, and the venipuncture operation can be accomplished skillfully and quickly.
