Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the effect of Pilates exercise therapy therapy on the bladder function and quality of life of postoperative patients with cervical cancer in young and middle-aged patients. Methods:A total of 124 cases of postoperative patients with cervical cancer in young and middle-aged patients treated in Xuchang Maternity and Child Health Hospital, Henan Province, from January 2018 to December 2019 were divided into experiment group and control group according to the admission time, each group were 62 patients. Participants in the control group received pelvic floor training, while the experiment group carried out Pilates exercise program for three months. The duration of indwelling catheter, residual urine volume and urinary retention rate of two groups were recorded, the bladder function was assessed by Mesure du handicap urinaire (MHU), the quality of life was evaluated by Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Cervix (FACT-Cx).Results:There was no significant difference of the duration of indwelling catheter, residual urine volume and urinary retention rate between two groups ( P>0.05). After 3 months, the MUH scores were (1.91±0.79) points in the experiment group, lower than those in the control group (2.28±1.09) points; the social/family status, emotional status, additional interests scores and total FACT-Cx scores in experiment group were (24.58±1.97), (21.82±1.89), (40.95±2.63), (131.40±5.12) points, higher than those in the control group (23.40±2.79), (20.93±2.34), (39.51±2.77), (126.51±4.73) points, the differences were statistically significant ( t values were 2.052-5.259, P<0.05 or 0.01). Conclusions:Based on the pelvic floor training combine with Pilates exercise can help patients recover bladder function and promote quality of life of cervical cancer in young and middle-aged patients.
