Abstract:
Medical chemistry is an important basic compulsory course in medical colleges. Most of the content of medical chemistry depends on knowledge understanding, which leads to weak interest and poor learning effect. Therefore, it is necessary to make students participate in teaching activities by reforming the traditional "inculcate education" teaching methods. The BOPPPS teaching model consists of six elements, including bridge-in, objective, pre-test, participatory learning, post-test and summary. This model emphasizes the "student-centered" teaching philosophy and follows the objective rules of teaching activities. The author introduced the BOPPPS model in the teaching process of medical chemistry courses, which can effectively improve students' participation, enhance students' learning motivation, and cultivate students' ability to think and learn independently.
