Abstract:
Objective:To summarize the nursing care of a super old patient with right limb movement disorder accompanied by mixed aphasia and cardiac and renal insufficiency who had placed PICC catheter on the same side of pacemaker for multiple ectopic adjustments.Method:Full evaluation before catheterization and comprehensive nursing after catheterizationResult:No complications such as catheter blockage, thrombus, swelling and infection were found in the patients who were treated with PICC catheter for 80days.Conclusion:Before placing PICC catheter on the same side of the pacemaker, comprehensive evaluation and targeted nursing should be given to ensure the safe retention of PICC and the normal operation of the pacemaker.
