Abstract:
Pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms are a kind of potential malignant neoplasms originating from pancreatic neuroendocrine cells with high heterogeneity and good biological behavior and prognosis. Surgical treatment is considered to be the most important and the only way to cure pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms, but there are still many controversies on the treatment. Not only the nature, volume, location, number, invasion of surrounding organs and blood vessels, lymph nodes and distant metastasis of the tumor should be fully evaluated, but also the risk of pancreatic surgery and patients’ own conditions should be taken into account. In this paper, the progress of surgical treatment of pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors in recent years is reviewed.
