Abstract:
Objective:To understand the current status of the use of goserelin for protection of ovarian function in young patients with triple-negative breast cancer. Methods:Clinical data of 47 patients pathologically diagnosed as triple-negative breast cancer from Jan. 2015 to Dec. 2017 and with a willingness to protect ovarian function were collected and retrospectively analyzed. Patients’ drug share was calculated, and drug use was investigated by telephone follow-up.Results:31 patients were successfully followed up, aged 14-40 years, with a median age of 31 years. 80.6% (25/31) patients had a compliance and 19.4% (6/31) patients had poor compliance. Fisher’s exact test showed that the degree of education, economic situation and type of medical insurance had an impact on compliance, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Conclusion:Medical staff should pay more attention to the use of drugs in patients with lower education level and poor economic conditions, provide them with scientific medication guidance and individualized health education, do a good job of patient management, and improve patient compliance.
