Abstract:
Obesity not only affects children′s health, but also is closely related to the occurrence of metabolic syndrome in adulthood.Therefore, childhood obesity has become a serious challenge to global public health.Many studies have shown that lipocalin-2(Lcn2)plays an important role in the pathogenesis of obesity by participating in diet regulation, inflammatory response, glucose metabolism, fat metabolism and other mechanisms, and has a significant correlation with metabolic indicators.Lcn2 has become an important biomarker because of its diversity of functions, wide expression and easy detection.It is of great significance for the prevention and treatment of childhood obesity to study the role and regulatory mechanism of Lcn2 in childhood obesity.
