Abstract:
Collateral circulation is a characteristic manifestation of Budd-Chiari syndrome (BCS), also an important compensatory factor for the relief of intrahepatic and extrahepatic congestion. Collateral circulation not only provides important information for the diagnosis of BCS, but also has important significance in the treatment of BCS. The advancements of collateral circulation in the diagnosis and treatment of BCS were reviewed in this article.
