Abstract:
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a tumor with high morbidity and mortality all over the world. Image-guided percutaneous physical ablation has become an important treatment for HCC not suitable for radical surgery. Immunotherapy is also an important treatment of HCC. Physical ablation has direct anti-tumor effect. Meanwhile,the autoimmune reaction caused by ablation therapy can coordinate with immunotherapy to treat tumor. The advancements of physical ablation alone and combined with immunotherapy in treatment of HCC were reviewed in this article.
