Abstract:
Bone age is an important component of the biological age of human body, which can reflect the individual development and maturity accurately, and plays an important role in the detection of growth and development of children and the diagnosis of endocrine diseases. Traditional reading method of bone age has several disadvantages, such as long time, low accuracy and complex reading. With the development of artificial intelligence technology, bone age assessment has gradually changed from traditional artificial film reading to automatic identification with artificial intelligence. The research progress of traditional methods, new methods and artificial intelligence methods of bone age assessment were reviewed in this article.
