Abstract:
Transcatheter aortic valve implantation has become the main treatment for severe aortic stenosis, and the commercially available valves include approximately divided into balloon-expandable valves and self-expanding valves. The new generation balloon-expandable valve consists of SAPIEN XT and SAPIEN 3 valves. The latest version of the self-expanding valve is the repositionable Evolut Pro system. The research advancements of transcatheter heart valves were reviewed in this article.
