Abstract:
Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a chronic nonspecific intestinal inflammatory disease, studies both at home and abroad have shown that the incidence of Clostridium difficile infection (CDI) in IBD patients is increasing yearly, and the rates of colectomy and mortality are high, which cause significant healthcare and economic burden. This article reviewed the research progress on risk factors related to IBD complicated with CDI, so as to be helpful for the early detection and prevention of CDI.
