Abstract:
Varicocele(VC), which is a common cause of male infertility, demonstrates abnormal dilatations of the pampiniform venous plexus. Ultrasonography has a very important role in the diagnosis and classification of VC, providing a basis for further clinical treatment of VC patients. However, there are still many controversies in the current standards of ultrasonic diagnosis and classification of VC. The relative studies were reviewed in this article, in order to explore ultrasonic diagnostic and classifying criteria of VC that can generally use to Chinese people.
