Abstract:
Real-time shear wave elastography (SWE) is a new technique with good real-time and repeatability for measuring the hardness and softness of tissue. At present, SWE is mainly used in thyroid, breast, liver, kidney, adrenal gland, prostate, muscle lesions, etc., while there are few studies on peripheral vascular diseases. The research progresses of SWE in arterial wall elasticity, plaque and venous thrombosis were reviewed in this paper.
