Abstract:
Early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer is the key to improve the curative effect. Early breast cancer often does not have typical symptoms and signs. Imaging examination can be used to detect tumors that could not be touched clinically. Stereotactic biopsy guided by imaging technology has become an important tool for diagnosis of breast cancer. At present, imaging methods of breast cancer mainly include breast ultrasound, mammography, MRI and cone-beam breast CT. The progresses of image-guided localized biopsy in diagnosis of breast cancer were reviewed in this article.
