Abstract:
The etiology of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is not yet clear. SPECT and PET can be used to study the neurobiology mechanism of ASD by non-invasive quantification of cerebral blood flow, glucose metabolism and protein metabolism. The recent research progresses on SPECT and PET of ASD were reviewed in this article.
