Abstract:
Placental dysfunction can induce adverse outcomes of mother and fetus. Early diagnosis of placental dysfunction is of great significance for prevention of disease and improvement of fetal prognosis. Shear wave elastography (SWE) is expected to be a new method for evaluating and predicting placental function through quantitative measurement of placental elasticity. The research progresses of SWE on evaluation of placental function were reviewed in this article.
