Abstract:
Objeciive to invesligate the expression of ankysin repeats in oral sqiiamoijs cell carsinoma(oscc) and its dirucal signisicance. Methods the expression of gankyrin protsin was detected by immimohistochemical method in55 oscc spesimens and the corresponding para-cancer non-tumor tissires; the differerrtial expression of gankyrin protsin was analyzed in oscc spesimens of differerrt pathological charactesissics; we also arialyzed the possible cliinical value of the differensial expression. Resists expression of gankyrin in the oscc tissues was signisicanlly strcmger than that in the corresponding para-cancer non-tumor sissijes (p = 0. 000). Gankysin protsin expression was signisicanlly different between oscc tissues of high, low and moderate differentiati0n (p = 0. 006). We aiso found that the expression of gankyrin was not assosiated with the sex, age, or lymphatic status ofoscc patients. Conclusion gankyrin protsin is over-expressed in oscc tissues, which night be related to the differentiation degree of oscc.
