Abstract:
Objective: To establish a method of determination salicylic acid (SA) by HPLC. Study on the effect of compound Danshen dropping pills (CDDP) on pharmacokinetics of aspirin in rat by investigating the pharmacokinetic behaviors of SA in rat. Method: The plasma concentration of SA was determined by HPLC, and the pharmacokinetics parameters were calculated. The effect of CDDP on pharmacokinetics of aspirin in rat was studied through comparison to the pharmacokinetics parameters of SA. Results: The t1/2 of SA were respectively (496.8±30.5) min (504.5±123.5) min(505.4±96.3) min-and (438.6±105.7) min in rats of the group of single administration SA, the group of single co-administration SA and CDDP, the group of multiple administration of SA, and the group of multiple co-administration of SA and CDDP. The values of Tmax were (37.5±16.0) min, (45.0±10.6) min, (52.5±25.9) min, (24.0±8.22) min in rats of the groups above, respectively. Conclusion: The pharmacokinetics of aspirin was influenced by CDDP after co-administration in rats.
