Abstract:
Objective To summarize the experience of esophagectomy radical operation by thoracoscopy and laparoscopy. Methods 31 cases with esophagus tumour received esphagectomy radical operation by Thoracoscopy and Laparoscopy from May in 2008 to July in 2011. Thoracoscopy was used to separate esophagus and scavenge local lymph nodes. Laparoscopy was performed to separate stomach and scavenge local lymph nodes. Then stomach was carried out to form gastric tube, which was anastomosed to the esophagus stump in the left side of the neck. Results The average time of operation was (213±48)min, and the average volume of blood loss was (220±59)ml. One case of postoperative delayed celiac hemorrhage occurred in a patient with hypertensive disease. Two cases of chylothorax occurred postoperatively. But no perioperative mortality. Conclusion The method of esophagectomy radical operation by thoracoscopy and laparoscopy associated is safe technically.
