Abstract: Recurrence of uterine fibroids after myomectomy is common,and the mechanism of recurrence is unknown.The recurrence rate may be related to the number,size and type of fibroids.The treatment for recurrent uterine fibroids is the same as that for primary fibroids.Currently,there is no effective method or drug to prevent recurrence. The risk of recurrence should be assessed at the same time with surgery,and postoperative guidance and follow-up should be done.
