- Abstract: Uterine fibroids(leiomyomas or myomas)are extremely common benign neoplasms of the uterus.Myomectomy is a conservative surgical method,including laparotomy,laparoscopy and vaginal surgery and so on.The uterine-sparing intervention may lead to recurrence after surgery.The purpose of this manuscript is to discuss how to detect occult fibroids in myomectomy so as to improve the treatment effect of myomectomy and reduce the risk of recurrence.
