- Abstract: Improvement in diagnosis has made it possible to have the early detection of gynecologic malignancies.Among premenopausal women,the loss of future fertility or ovarian function is considered among the most dreadful long-term side effects of treatments.Therefore,the preservation of fertility and ovarian function during chemotherapy treatment is of great important.This article will summarize the effect of chemotherapy on ovarian function and protective measures for chemotherapy-induced ovarian damage.
