Abstract: Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)is a common disease with endocrinal disorder in fertile women,which is usually characterized by anovulation,hyperandrogenism and insulin resistance.Endocrinal disorders make patients with PCOS be prone to develop obesity.Obesity interacts with PCOS,and they both increase the risk of infertility,pregnancy complications and long-term complications.Thus,the patient needs to undergo health status assessment,lifestyle modifi⁃cation,medications or even surgery before assisted reproduction in order to improve the outcomes of as⁃sisted reproduction and reduce the risk of pregnancy complications and long-term complications.
