- Abstract: Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)is one ofthe most common endocrine disorders in women,whichis associated with metabolic abnormalities and long-term complications including diabetes and cardiovas-cular diseases.When diagnosed with PCOS,patientsneed to undergo screening tests on glycolipid metab-olism in time,in order to conduct early intervention toreduce the cardiovascular and diabetic risk.Manage-ments of glycolipid metabolic disorders in PCOS shouldbe based on the characteristics of different phenotypesand patients' needs in order to perform individualtreatments.
