- Abstract: Cesarean section scar endometriosis(CSE)refers to secretory endometrial glands or stromal implant to the cesarean scar.The incidence of CSE is about 0.2%-0.45%,and the mechanism of pathogenesis is still unclear.Ultrasound and MRI are commonly used diagnostic methods.The only effective and safe treatment of CSE is the surgical removal of the endometrioma while medical therapy remains controversial.
