- Abstract: Parkinson's disease(PD) is a chronic progressive neurodegenerative disease. Its clinical manifestations include motor symptoms and non-motor symptoms. Many more researches have focused on non-motor symptoms, especially depression, which seriously affects the quality of life of PD, but in clinical practice, it is difficult to detect depression and get it treated properly. This review will present the situation of depression in PD, including etiology, diagnosis and treatment.
