- Abstract: Pakinson's disease(PD) is a neurodegenerative disease characterized by a variaty of motor and nonmotor symptoms.Constipation is a common non-motor symptom of PD.Constipation can occur in early PD or before typical motor symptoms of Pakinson's disease.Constipation affects the life quality of patients with PD.At present, the correlation and mechanism of constipation in patients with PD are not clear, and many studies have discussed its effective treatment.In this review, we summarize current researches in correlation, mechanism and treatment of constipation in PD.
