Abstract: Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis(IPF) is a specific form of interstitial lung diseases(ILDs) with unknown causes. In 2018, the international expert panel of interstitial lung diseases updated the diagnostic criteria of IPF based on the imaging and histopathology published in 2011. We will interpret the new 2018 version of diagnostic guidelines for IPF.
