Abstract: This paper reports a severe case of Strongyloides stercoralis infection during routine sputum smear examinations, due to cough and shortness of breath, so as to improve clinicians’ awareness of strongyloidiasis to avoid and reduce misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis.
