Abstract:
miR-155 is a typical multifunctional microRNA, and it participates in diverse biological processes mediated by its downstream genes, including inflammation, immunity, angiocardiopathy, and tumorgenesis. miR-155 plays a vital role in the process of virus infections, such as hepatitis B virus, human immunodeficiency virus, Epstein-Barr virus, enterovirus 71. Recent studies have shown that miR-155 regulates the replication of the virus and the antiviral reaction by JAKs/STATs and TLRs/NF-κB pathway.
