Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the imaging features and clinical application value of CT and MRI in the diagnosis of invasive cervical cancer before operation.
Methods:From June 2015 to June 2017, 100 cases of invasive cervical cancer admitted in Zhoushan Hospital were selected. All patients were diagnosed with CT and MRI before operation. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of the two imaging methods for the diagnosis of invasive cervical carcinoma were compared and analyzed.
Results:The diagnostic coincidence rate of CT for stage IB1 and below was 58.97%, which of MRI was 89.74%, there was statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). The diagnostic coincidence rates of CT for IB2-IIA, IIB and above were 83.3% and 100.0%, respectively, which of MRI were 85.42% and 92.31%, respectively, there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups(all P>0.05). The sensitivity (85.37%, 86.36%, 50.00%), specificity (94.92%, 80.77%, 82.35%) and accuracy (91.00%, 82.00%, 72.00%) of MRI in the diagnosis of invasive cervical cancer before operation were significantly higher than those of CT(68.29%, 90.91%, 84.38%; 83.05%, 57.69%, 100.00%; 77.00%, 65.00%, 95.00%), the differences were statistically significant between the two groups (χ2=10.352, 7.325, 22.301, 7.142, 19.324, 20.136, 15.032, 10.257, 7.201, all P<0.05).
Conclusion:Both MRI and CT techniques have their own characteristics. These two methods have high resolution, high sensitivity and high specificity, which are worthy of extensive use.
