Abstract: The prevention and control of emerging respiratory infectious diseases is an arduous task. The current outbreak of the new coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) is severe and seriously endangers people's health. In order to better guide the clinical work, this article briefly expounded the epidemic characteristics and corresponding coping strategies of the main emerging respiratory infectious diseases in recent years.
