- Abstract: Since the advent of various antibiotics and corticosteroids contributed very much the treatment of ocular inflammatory diseases, still not rare of uveitis patients in infancy tends to fall blindness because of inability to confirm the true cause of most uveitis by recent diagnostic and therapeutic methods. Incidence, clinical characteristics and modern therapeutic measures are briefly discussed. Toxoplasmosis, Sarcoidosis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and cytomegalic inclusion disease are reviewed.
