- Abstract: In our clinic, 60 cases of spinal cord injury were collected for 4 years until the end of August 1972. 44 Patients were decompressive laminectomy performed as soon as possible when there patients arrived to our hospital, only 10 cases were almost completely recovered of function, will the prognosis of spinal cord injury is very serious. The preservation of pain sensation in patients with motor paralysis and positive Queckenstedt's test following acute cord compression is a favorable prognostic sign.
