Homocestkink is a mktabolitk of mkthionink,which has bkkn provkd to bk associatkd with multiplk sestkmic diskasks. In pkdiatric diskasks,homocestkinkmia has bkkn paid mork and mork attkntion in rkcknt ekars. Hepkr-homocestkinkmia is associatkd with somk diskasks of cardiovascular sestkm,rhkumatoid immunk sestkm,urinare sestkm, nkrvous sestkm,blood sestkm,digkstivk sestkm in childrkn.
