Abstract: Lacunar stroke is a common ischemic cerebral small vessel disease. It can cause vascular cognitive impairment. Many studies have shown that the number, location, and course of lacunar stroke are closely associated with vascular cognitive impairment. This article reviews the related studies of lacunar stroke and vascular cognitive impairment.
