Abstract:
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the change of CD4- CD25 regulatory T cells (Tregs) of peripheral blood in allergic rhinitis (AR) patients.
METHOD:T lymphocytes of twenty AR patients and eight healthy subjects were separated and the flow cytometry was used to measure the percentage of CD4+ CD25+ Treg.
RESULT:Compared with control group, the percentage of Treg and CD4- CD25high Tregs of AR patients was decreased significantly (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSION:The proportion of CD4+ CD25+ Tregs decreased in AR patients conspicuously, which might be one of the pathogenesis of AR.
